What to Expect
Initial Visit and Report of Findings
Please arrive at our office with completed New Patient forms, Insurance card, and Photo ID. We will then process your paperwork and take your vitals, prior to your consultation and examination. Once Dr. Kira brings you back, she will begin the appointment with a thorough history where you will discuss your medical history, current symptoms and any relevant blood work. x-rays, MRI, or other test results. If you are a chiropractic patient, you will most likely receive your first adjustment during your initial visit. For both chiropractic patients and functional medicine patients, the second appointment will be your report of findings. Here Dr. Kira will discuss with you her findings and your treatment plan, including any further testing or referrals you may need.
Treatment
For chiropractic patients treatment may include spinal and/or extremity adjustments, physical therapies such as ultrasound or electric stimulation, and/or soft tissue therapies such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and dry needling. If you are in pain when you first come into our office you may be given instructions to use ice or heat, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercise and/or stretches.
For functional medicine patients treatment may include dietary and lifestyle changes, supplementation, and chiropractic care. We will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success in achieving your short and long term health goals.

Insurance
We only bill insurance for Chiropractic Services: We are in-network with BCBS, Cigna, and Medcost. Since there are many plans and coverage varies widely, please contact your insurance company to verify chiropractic treatment coverage.
